Following the news about local politics. It is something new...and surprising coming from Aqila who is (that is what we think) not really paying attention to current news / affairs. So what triggers his interest?
Apparently...there were a lot of political activities going on around his school. If you are following news, just recently there was a by-election in Sengkang-Punggol district (the area where Aqila's school is located). The seat in Parliament was fought by four political parties! This all started when Mr Michael Palmer, the Member of Parliament from this district resigned following news about his err...his personal affairs. Well, someday when you are old enough to find out about this matter, you may google news about him.
We know who won the by-election. Let's just hope the new MP will work hard for the people she represents :-)
