Late late post again from back in 2016

Introducing our Kawai RX1 Grand piano.

Cakeeeeep nya suaranya. Indahnya touch nya. Bentuknya! We all fell in love with this expensive piece of music instrument!

After much hooha in the last one month and Bunda was so stressed out with the whole ordeal of getting Aqila an acoustic piano, our very much prized possession has arrived!

After performing very well on the previous 6th Performance Festival, and after much persuasion from Ms Kee, Aqila's piano teacher, we decided to get an acoustic piano for Aqila.

You see, up to grade 5, Aqila was using a clavinova to practice at home. Dont get me wrong, it is a fine modern instrument, perfect for casual playing, but apparently not for someone who are learning classical music. Katanya touch nya beda. iya emang bener sih. Dan juga kalau membangun good piano technique, baiknya memang main di accoustic piano. 

Cek sana sini. Pergi liat dan coba piano sana sini. Bunda sampai pergi ke daerah Bukit Timah coret untuk lihat piano di rumah orang. Ternyata...jodohnya dekat2 saja dengan kantor ayah. Suatu hari, jam makan siang, ayah iseng  masuk ke Roberts Piano, toko piano khusus Kawai di Suntec City. Dasarnya rejeki Aqila, ada sebuah RX1, dalam kondisi cantik. Baru datang dari Jepang. Ex examination piano di suatu konsevatori. It is just right for Aqila, for our home juga. Cocok ukurannya. Alhamdulillah. It is a luxury item, musti rogoh kocek dalaaam sekali. Tapi insya Allah worth it. We will cherish it. 

Update 2022

Aqila, your RX1 is a blessing for Bunda as well. It is one of the best ways for me to meditate, a therapy whenever Bunda is overwhelmed with reality. It is my solitude, my abode, my escape. After letting loose all my pent up emotions through a playing session, I don't usually require pills to get rid off my headache anymore. It does not always work, but most of the times, it does. Alhamdulillah. 

So Aqila, find your solitude. Find ways to calm yourself, to ponder, to lost in your thoughts, to relax, to recharge, to calm your thoughts, to heal your heart. Once you are recharged, you can restart your engine. Go all out.

Aqila, plan your life, plan it well...and follow the plan religiously. Of course, there wont be a straight path to reach your goal but Insya Allah, with our supports and Allah's blessings, you will do just fine in life ya. Aamiin...
