Project Narnia

Props for the scene where Lucy met Mr Tumnus in the land of Narnia.

Aqila and his classmates in English Literature Appreciation Programme had a skit performance a couple of weeks ago. The scenes were taken from the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis.  

Wang Zhi and Nureen, Aqila's classmates, came over to our house to write the script together. Here in the picture, the girls had done their parts so they were free to play a boardgame, leaving Aqila to do his :-P

Aqila was Mr Tumnus, the Faun! 

Mom helped in preparing costumes and props.

Aqila volunteered to make the tree headress for his friend in the group.

I had no idea that Aqila would really enjoyed the programme thoroughly. The fact that he volunteered to prepare the headdress for his friend said it all. I am so glad :) 

He now wishes to have the complete collections of the Chronicles of the Narnia! Allright then...let's go hunt for the books.
