Lets face it, kids just looove cakes and cookies.
Now i am no brainer when it comes to cooking and baking...but i know i can hide vegetables or fruits puree in my kid's cakes so that i can up his intake on vitamins and fibres.
You see...Aqila is picky when it comes to food, coupled with his multiple-allergy issues, preparing a decent yet nutritious food for him can be a daunting task for me.
How do i do it? Simple...you can do it too. All you have to do is to puree some vegetables such as carrots, zuchini, cauliflower even broccoli, and add about 1/2-1C of this puree to your cake dough. (you just gauge the amount ya). Any cake dough. Since aqila is now crazy about brownies, so I add that to brownies dough. Last stage before pouring the batter to pan and bake.
