This blog went idle for quite a while...we went 'mudik'! to Jakarta for almost two weeks! And guess what... Aqila had a real good time there!

We thought Aqila would have alot of problem adjusting to the weather, the food, the pollution...the heat...but Alhamdulillah...praise Allah...he almost had no allergic reaction nor rashes at all!

He even had very good appetite during our stay in Jakarta, perhaps it was because he was always on the move, always had new things to do, to experience...'makannya tuambah mas!'

One thing Aqila liked to do was to go to the mosque and see and watch people pray and recite verses frm The Holy Quran. Oma-OPa's house is located near a mosque, and it happens that Opa is one of the mosque administrator. So Opa spent alot of time at the mosque for meetings etc and he often brought along his favourite grandson!

Talking about first experience of hearing 'Adzan', a call for pray in 'real time'! :P
He was like..."Bunda, what's that? Where is the Azan sound from?" with a surprised and curious look on his face. To watched a giant 'Beduk' being hit and played to the tune of takbir...masya allah, this was really a precious and special experience!
